This 4 days trek is short and pleasant. The trek starts from Punakha and terminates at Wangduephodrang Dzongkhag. The trek is easy and relatively comfortable as you need to negotiate altitudes between 1100 and 1900m and a lukewarm climate all throughout.
The trail will take you through the forests packed with a variety of rhododendrons and oak, and through some remote villages of Sha and Chungsakha. You also cross Bhutan’s longest foot bridge in Bhutan. This trek can be conducted all throughout winter, though the best times are between March and April and September and October.
