This is another version of the Snowman Trek that takes you to the altitude of more than 5000 meters, which makes it one of the toughest treks of the world. In fact, if you are here in the winter you will be required to camp well on snow. The trail starts from Gunitsawa Village, Paro Valley and goes through the Lunana region and further to Gangkhar Peunsum and then to Duer Village, in the Bumthang district. The specialty of this particular trek is that it takes the trekkers through some of the remotest regions of the country and provides them the opportunity to spend a day or two at one of the most breathtaking hot springs that the Himalayas ahs to offer! The best time for this trek is Mid June to Mid October.
